Things changed a lot when we got to high school. When I look back on my high school years.. it was really lame. I mean what do we all do, try to impress the ladies.. right... getting our license and all the other stuff that takes you out of your childhood and into your teenager years. We still remained close friends but you know how it is, you meet so many other people and we hardly ever had classes together. Doogie was always a bit smarter than I was.... I can remember when he would use a big word and I would like... what ??? Sometimes I would just roll with it so he would think I understood. In fact- the only thing I excelled in and Sean didn't was music classes. While I was dreaming of becoming a rock star, Sean was pursuing a military career.
So here we are all grown up and taking our leap into the real world. I have yet to become a rock star.. but Sean is well into his military career as a Marine. As I type this.. he is currently serving duty in Iraq. I would like to dedicate all of the stories I have wrote to Sean and Meilani and all of there families. I know this is a tough time but hang in there my good friend, our thoughts and prayers are with you. There is not a day that goes by that I don't think about all the fun times we had growing up. Thank you for being my friend. As I sign off, I would also like to say to his family- Buck, Mary, Stacy and Stacy's kids(forgive me Stacy) and to his wife Meilani that is back home with there three kids awaiting his arrival. I wrote this stories because of the friendship I have with Sean... and I am proud to have spent my life growing up with such a fine outstanding guy. Thanks for everything... Brian Bunn
