At the Bunns house

When Sean would come over to my house or should I say my parents house- we had several options to choose from. Since I lived next to his grandparents and burn- out-alley was behind their place... we never had idle time. I had a trampoline to jump on before hurricane hugo decided to trash- and I had this crazy thing about digging holes in the field beside the house.... so when he came to the house.... you guessed it- go dig some holes. It had a lot to do with living around W.R Bonsal and B.V. Hedricks mining operations and also when dad would take me to watch the draglines operate. Sean never did get aggravated when I wanted to dig holes or he did a good job of not showing it. You know I could really go a long ways with that but I already have a reserved spot for that story. What I really want to tell you is this game we came up with. It is by far the funniest game I've ever heard. The only thing played in this game was the cassette tapes.. We called it The fart game. If I remember correctly, one day we felt the urge to ... you know.. so we hit the record button and let it rip... we laughed so hard after several recordings- we just decided to leave the record button on. We would record anything....burps, gas, you name it.. it's on there. I have always heard laughing is good for the soul...I would say ours was in good shape at that time in our lives because when we listened to that tape -we would laugh until it hurt. You know we kept it clean cause at any time our parents were subject to listening to it. Back then we didn't know what being dirty was so it was not a problem. Basically, whatever we thought would be funny- that's what we recorded. This was back in the day when a double cassette player jam box was in style. I still have one of the two tapes we made and I hope I can find the other. The only thing is that when you try to listen to it- you have to turn the volume wide open cause those jam boxes didn't record all that good or either the tapes are so old. I'm sure that has a lot to do with it. Like I said ...if we got tired of playing at the house then we could ride over to Jessie May's and play a little basket ball or head out to burn-out alley. If I could go back in time and relive those days, I would do it in a heart beat. Well your still not done so keep reading cause were getting older... read on below.
