Time to Rock

School is out, the weight of the world is off my shoulders and now I can sit back, chill out and enjoy my Christmas break. Now, the chances of me actually doing what I just said are about the same as you seeing spiderman swinging around your neighborhood. So far since I've been out of school I've been trying to do a few things like clean out my truck that looks like a rats nest. Straighten up my room that also looked like a rats nest and do some organizing. I'm the type of person that has good intentions on keeping a neatly organized room/work area/truck... etc. You get the idea! However, I am not any of those. I'll do ok for a while and then it's like the light just goes out and I don't even realize it. When I'm able to take a breath from what I was doing... the light comes back on and I can't do anything else until I get everything cleaned/filed away and organized. It's almost like I get tunnel vision or something. So anyways, I think I'm good to go for a while... or at least until the light goes out again.

Well, I think I have around 3 weeks before I start another quarter. School starts January 12th. As always, I will probably be wide open trying to teach myself new tricks and of course doing the things I've been wanting to do for myself.

It looks like Shell-Bell will be heading out to see her parents at the beach next week but I'm gonna say put this year. Number one- I don't get vacation working part time at a retail shop and two- I really don't want to go. Not that I don't wanna to see my n-laws but I have fell completely in love with working with all of these programs. I can honestly say that I can't get enough. That's a good thing though... since I plan on making a career from this type of media. I can literally spend all day long in front of this computer letting my creative juices spill out.

I've been looking at my degree audit which is my curriculum and I have seven classes left. That will equal out to one year. So this time next year I will be finished... unless something happens. I will probably eventually get my associates degree but how and when is another story and that's too far to think about right now. I will have so many options of what I can do if I decide to step up to the associates program. I really don't know how it will all come to be but I'll keep you posted on whatever I decide.

One more thing, I got a job working on the school campus so this will be interesting. I will be working at the cage which is where school equipment is rented and prints are handled for students. I'm really going to like that because this will give me a chance to sit in on some classes and I will have my hands on some of the really nice video cameras the school just bought. So I'm really excited about that.

For now I'm going to try to juggle both jobs and school. We'll see how it goes.

Well, that's all for now. Stay tuned! There will be more to come!
