Lilesville sunset

About a month ago I headed down to Lilesville to see my mom for the day. Just like any other visit to Lilesville I find myself wanting to ride around to see the territory I grew up on. It was a cloudy day for the most part but just a few hours before dark, the sun started to shine through the clouds. As I was out and about I witnessed one of the most beautiful sunsets I've ever seen. The clouds just kept changing colors and I was right there to capture it all. I took around 60 shots of the ski and I decided to post them all in a slideshow on the top right of this blog. Most of them were shot in raw format so that gave me the ability to change the exposure and white balance for some unique colors. To top off my day spent with mom, I discovered that the grinch cartoon was coming on that night. Nothing like the Christmas cartoons. They are the best.

None of these images are the original. The color of the sky was much different than what you see here. These were just a few of my favorites.
