Oh my goodness...this week is going by soooo fast. Whoever said that time flies when your having fun obviously knew what they were talking about. What else would you expect though, we've had nothing but fun since we got here. I remember leaving work Friday a week ago thinking...man I'm so glad it's time to head out to the beach. Now here it is Thursday afternoon...and I'm laying out on the beach soaking up the sun and feeling the breeze... listening to the ocean waves crash and watching the sea gulls go by. Ah... this is so relaxing. This has been such a great week for both if us cause we've been so tied up with everything. In fact we've been so relaxed this week that if you were on the outside looking in at us, you might think we were a couple of dead beats. Me being crazy with school work and projects and Shelly being crazy with work can have that effect on you. There were several times this week when we were just zoned completely out... almost like we were mute or something.
It's kinda sad to think that once we leave the beach today it will be the last time we get to do this for a while. Shelly and I are very fortunate to have her parents open there home to us anytime we want to come down but it still takes a little saving and planning to make a week long trip down. Since we've been here... laying out on the beach has been our biggest time consumer but we did go to the Yorktown aircraft carrier for the day on Wednesday. Gosh we have such a good time when we visit these places. Pawleys Island is such a nice place to be. I've also been able to capture a beautiful sunset and a full moon and many other sites this week. The one and only thing I don't like is when we have to leave. You leave this time of fun and adventure to go back home to your ordinary routine of work... and most of all, Shelly says goodbye to her parents which is completely understandable. Well, guess I'll wrap this up. The breeze is blowing my paper up making it aggravating to write and I think we are gonna grab some late afternoon lunch before we call it a day here at the beach. Stay tuned for a ton of pics. I took over 600 but I'll just post a few of the ones I like the best. By the way... did I mention what a great week we had here at the beach...
