Here lately I been seeing some funny and even some really cool commercials on TV. I thought I'd never say that because I always use to say how I hated commercials. Back then, a commercial was just an interruption when I was watching a movie. Nowadays I really pay attention to a lot of commercials.
What I'm trying to get at here is a specific commercial that I seen the other day. In a way I guess you could say that it has left me scratching my head. The commercial was a guy talking about polar bears and how we should support them? I'm almost speechless about this. I realize all of this is because they are endangered but really, what will your x amount of dollars go towards? A home-education-food? I don't think so! There are plenty of people around the world that need help too so I'm thinking I'd rather help someone instead of something.
You know, maybe they should ask some of these zoo's or aquarium's around the world for some money. Or how about this... if some of these organizations need money for polar bears how about they try to lower the cost of ; well, everything. Cost of gas, cost of groceries or lets just cover it all and say the cost of living. That includes the price of cars, a house, your insurance on whatever you have insurance on and everything else you have to pay our of you pocket.
Once this has been accomplished and all of these things are much much cheaper, then I might have a few dollars to blow on a freaking polar bear.
