Well Shelly is finished with the kitchen and boy does it look good. Now the kitchen has a nice warm cozy feeling to it. Shell bell done all the work except the counter tops. She took all the door handles and cabinet hinges off, painted the cabinet doors, applied drywall compound on the walls, sanded and painted the walls. In the mist of this work being done, she bought new appliances for the kitchen. New stove, dish washer, trash can, and even a dadburn new sink. That chic of mine is something special let me tell you. She has completely painted every wall inside this house. What a woman!!! This was something she really enjoyed doing. Believe it or not, I even asked if there was anything I could do to help an all she said was just stay outta my way.... I want to do this. I was tickled pink... I don't like doing any kind of work like that anyways.
One thing she always wanted in our house was a fireplace. I almost think she would go without the bedroom just for a fireplace! Unfortunately, this house did not have one. So that girl went out and bought one. It's actually pretty neat... it's a portable fireplace and has some type of gel in a small bucket that you place behind the logs. It even pops like a real fireplace. Overall I think Shell Bell did an outstanding job. Now that everything is done we can sit back and enjoy coziness of our new kitchen. Here's how it looks.
