What just a minute... don't start thinking about breakfast cause this has nothing to do with the scrambled eggs that you're probably thinking about. I'm actually referring to my mind. That's right, my brain!
What I really mean is that my mind has been a little scrambled here lately. I've been tossing and turning with several things and I have felt completely scattered. It's kinda like taking 5 steps backwards with every step forward that I make. To top it off, I would even think about what was making me think the way I was thinking. If that makes any sense to you. In other words, my mentality was like scrambled eggs... chopped up and all over the place. But I fell like I have figured a few things out.
It's almost hard to explain without repeating myself over and over again but lets just say that I have taking on a little too many projects lately. Resulting in zero is where I normally am at the end of the day.
I wrote about something earlier about me being interested in everything. And I am. I spend probably 12 to 15 hours... wait, I have a better way of saying this. If I'm not sleeping, then I am here on the computer. Other than being on the computer, I really love photography. Now I could spend countless hours out in the field somewhere waiting for that perfect eye-catching moment to happen. Whether it's driving down the road looking for something or at a track shooting motocross. Then there is the editing process. This stage is pretty much endless. It all depends on what you are wanting to do with the photos. Next, there is photoshop. Which is where the editing takes place. If you have the knowledge, photoshop can take you into another world of wild creations. For the sake of my fingers and your reading eyes, I won't list the other mighty adobe programs that are sitting so gracefully on my computer. Lets skip to videography shall we. Oh my... how my heart beats for videography. Both shooting and editing. I can wholeheartedly say that both photography and videography is where my heart is.
Then there is web design and graphic design. I have a huge love for web design but it just isn't buried as deep in my heart as photo and video. The web is crazy these days. The things people are doing are simply unbelievable. You can burn up countless hours while designing websites. Unless you're Drew Kinney, ( my web instructor at the Art Institute ). Now that guy can quote web code to you in his sleep. For me, it takes a bit of time. Even when it's something I'm familiar with. All it takes is a . or , or = or < and so on... in the wrong place and the whole site is completely twisted like a grapevine. You'll nearly rack your mind trying to figure out where the problem is. The strange thing is... I like doing that. Figuring out the problem that is. I get so frustrated when I jack everything up but finding the bug is rewarding.
Lastly is my blogging. The bunny show has a really deep place in my heart... but guess what? I spend so much time doing all the other things that I'm not making myself put any time into this. I have told myself a thousand times to make a schedule but I'm hard headed.
So here are a few things that I have been working on... at the same time.
vitomusiq.com - an inspiring talented singer from Monroe NC that worked his way to high rankings on American Idol. (
moto87.com - my own motocross web site getting a new look
factory987.com - my own portfolio site is getting a new layout as well.
Cory Bramblet interview - a magazine layout of an interview with Cory.
and all of my motocross footage I shot with the schools SD cameras are getting music videos made from them. Don't even ask how much footage I have. Just think big!
On top of all of this, I am trying to get my dirt bike running so I can sell it and get new camera equipment. It goes without saying that I have my hands full. I am just trying to do too many things at one time. I love to multi task but I'm never good at it.
So... this is the reason I haven't pouring out some silly story that has all kinds of misspelled words and silly phrases that don't make any sense.
One thing is for sure though... I'm working on a fix for this! I'll just have to add it to my to do list.
