Week 2 of the Art Institute

I completed my second week of classes and they went way better than my first week. I should have this thing whipped before long. Now if I can only figure out how these kids can do their work so fast. I have to ask a hundred questions and them frigging kids can yawn, laugh and whatever else you can imagine and still understand the assignments. For example, tonight a few students didn't have the tools for class and the instructor said if you don't have your tools then borrow or do it at home. This guy went on and on about the assignment and even changed his mind on a few things. I noticed a couple of young guys just watching him talk like they could read his mind... then they got up and left. Not me... I almost have my instructors on a leash... well it ain't that bad. The way I look at it is do whatever I need to do to learn. They stress to us about calling them or emailing them for any questions and you better believe I got their number. You know what though... I am really happy and fortunate to be going back to school. The other day I went for a workshop and when I walked by the front desk, I seen a fella go by.... then my instant image reflects alerted me. Well I'll be doggone. Here I am talking to a high school class mate I haven't seen in 15 years. Talk about being shocked... I was big time. The only bad thing about it was we didn't have a lot of time to talk. As I go through this time in my life, you better believe I am going to share my experiences with you. My only problem is finding the time to do everything I enjoy doing which is a lot these days. That is a good thing you know... I want to be able to look back on my life...when I'm old-an-frail-week-in-the-tail and say I gave it all I had.
Life is to short not to think likewise.
