Construction

Ok now, enough is enough. This is the second time I have got hung up in road construction when I was on the way home from school. I can appreciate these workers doing this at night because 485 on the Pineville side is very heavy with traffic and I don't think need to mention how heavy the traffic is on 77. I don't mind getting in backed up traffic as long as there is movement around 30 mph but when I have to stop and sit there... that is when I start getting frustrated. Not because of the construction but because there is ten different ways to get home albeit some are longer but at least I don't have to just sit there. It would even be nice if they would tell you a few miles back so you can be thinking about another exit to take. Think I'm crazy huh... that's my tax dollars at work. Wait a minute...... tax dollars..... anybody seen the light rail system on South Blvd. I am not into politics but I heard the other day the light rail system will only be 2% effective cost wise. If they took only half the money it has cost to build that stupid train and put it into the Highways that are in extreme need of expanding, it would be 98% effective.
