A new line of communication

Ever since Shell-Bell bought herself a laptop... it has allowed us to open up a new line of communication. Here is how it goes. I'm in my office working on homework or whatever, she is on the couch playing card games, playing on MySpace etc. So, if I need to ask her something, I just send her a quick e-mail... That's it. Why in the world would I need raise my voice and shout loud enough so she can hear me when all have to do is ask her silently... which is just typing the question and sending it to her. Truth is, it seems like I remember more of the questions I need to ask her when I do it this way than wasting all that energy to shouting... even though she is in the next room!!! What do you think about that!
