First smart phone post
Oh yeah. It takes a while to write out long sentences so I'll probably just post pics from my phone. Let's see if my doggy pic will post.
Guess what
I got me a new toy! You in stitches yet with wanting to know what it is? It's a smart phone. One of them kind that's so smart that it makes you feel like an idiot when you first get it. I'm getting the hang of it pretty quick though.
This time, I chose the iPhone. My first smart phone was a droid. My experience with that phone wasn't that good so I'm giving Apple a try. I love everything else they make so hopefully I won't be disappointed.
On a more serious note, I'm gonna step out on a limb here and say that you probably should think about getting one just to get use to it. Technology is booming like a wildfire in the mobile field. I don't think that flip phones will be obsolete but I think they'll make them so basic that they are nearly worthless.
Just my opinion.
Oh one more thing. Just the other day I was thinking... it would be cool if this phone had a blogger app. I started looking and bam... found it. So I installed the app on my phone. Now I can do little quicky blogs. I bet I'll be misspelling word like crazy when I blog with that thing!!!
Until the next time!

Tom & Jerry
You know something... I still love cartoons. The old ones, not the new ones. You know, like The Bugs Bunny and Tweety Bird Show, Scooby doo, Tome & Jerry... I could go on. It's hard to find these cartoons on tv nowadays but I did find a consistent time for Tom & Jerry. Check out a few of these tv shots. I get tickled just looking at these pictures.
A few pics
If there is one thing I life that I love to do, it's to get a laugh going or laugh myself. Check these pictures out!!! You'll get a good laugh!
Allow me to spell it out for ya so you won't think I'm posting half naked pics of women. Look at the kid in the background taking a pic with his cell...

Have a peek at the tv screen in the back
The dog in the background trying to hump the other dog...
And last of all, how in the world could you miss this one, the dog taking a dump for the nice family vacation photos...
Hold that thought!
I just thought about something... this is the most bunny show blogging I've done in a long freaking time.
Okay... that's all I had!
Okay... that's all I had!
See ya later school talk
Ah yes... now that I've officially got the graduating school story off my chest, I think I'm gonna let that topic sink to the bottom of the river. Let me just say one more thing before I let it sink. It was right after I gave my presentation on my portfolio project. It was the moment when I walked out the doors for the last time. I had this little build up going for a long time. It would be like... this is my last week here... then, this is my last 2 days... then, this is my last time in this class room. So each time I had that feeling, walking out of that classroom had totally different feel to it.
During my last 2 quarters, I landed a job with the cage. Which was the print lab for our school. So I really had a chance to sit there and take it all in. It was like... I'm about to graduate college. Something I never thought I would ever do in my entire life.
So as I left each class room, I turned and starred at the room and thought back to the time I first walked in that room to the times I was waist deep in school work wondering how I was gonna make it to up to this point.
It was definitely a feeling of accomplishment. To know how I started and to realize where I was now. So all of that looking back was a good feeling. When I walked out the doors for the last time at The Art Institute, you better believe I remembered that butterfly feeling I had when I was there going through the enrollment process. That one final look back was sort of a shout-out to each and everyone that supported me and believed in me. And to most of all, my mom and dad. Cause I knew they were tickled pink at what I just accomplished in life.
With that being said, here's to life outside of school. Well, maybe a tiny bit if I have too in another story, but I'd say for 99.9%... I'm done with school talk!!!
See ya later Art Institute of Charlotte.

After graduation
So I'm free from school and I'm back out on the streets! Ouch! I forgot what that feeling was like. Except this time it was a whole new ball game. The plan was to find a job doing what I studied in school. The economy was already sucking and I was a bit nervous to say the least about my new path in life. I really struggled for a few months with not going back to the quarry life. It was a job that I was confident in and knew I could do. But that was the whole reason I left that life... to make a new one.
While I was going through all these emotions, I had a couple of things going on in my life that were not making things any easier. Mom was going through knee replacement surgery. I mean she was at my portfolio show one day (Thursday) and the next day (Friday) she was in the hospitable getting prepped for surgery. This was going to be a bit of an uphill climb for mom cause she had to go through therapy before she could come home.
This time of my life was actually a massive roller coaster ride for me. I can't say that it was a fun ride either. It was a roller coaster ride of emotions. You gotta think about something here... I was in school for 2 years and my life only consisted of school work, homework, project assignments and then being committed to my part time jobs that I had throughout my college years. Every hour of my life was spoken for.
So after graduation, you could say my wall of emotions came down pretty hard. I just didn't have time to be emotional in school. There were always ups and downs in school but nothing really emotion... except the feeling of me graduating college.
So we have mom and her knee. Then I had to look for work and actually started working at Walgreens just to make ends meet until I found something more my style. In addition to all of this mess, our dog Jack was to the point of no more. This was a very sad time in my life as I got very close to that doggie. We eventually had to put him down. And holy mother... I hadn't felt that much pain since my dad passed nearly 20 years ago.
On top of that I had one of my best friends that I met in college moving away to Texas. Mercy... it was just one thing right after another.
Then my walking ceremony for callege graduation was knocking on the door. This was December of 2009 and we were having some serious rain storms that year. And you'd know it was raining like a cow pissing on a flat rock that night. Plus, it was cold and there were some warnings of sleet in the area. So my mom, the most important person that I wanted to be present at my walking ceremony was not able to be there.
Good grief... I was so wrapped tight that I didn't know whether I was coming or going. With the way everything were going, I was just not happy in life. And to be quite honest, after all the dust cleared and I was able to sit back and take everything in, I became very sad and was dealing with a plate full of depression. Nothing in life felt worth a crap and I definitely wasn't feeling the glory I was hoping to feel.
I knew of only one thing at this time. And that was knowing that I was gonna make it. I didn't know how and I didn't know when but I just knew I would make it if I could just hang on. This time of my life wasn't easy nor was it any fun.
I was not expecting a cinderella story after graduation but I wasn't expecting this kind of story either. But yet again I made through. I will say this much... depression is a very wicked thing and I am very sensitive to people that are going through this kind if sickness. Let me sum it up for you in a few words. Depression is the kind of sickness to where anything and everything in your life just completely sucks. It's even extremely hard to find the good in the best of things.
Fast forward to now, things have definitely made a huge turn and I'm happier than ever. So stick around and hear what has got this bald guy so happy!!!

Portfolio class
Okie dokie, we're definitely going back to where I left off a few years ago. But first here is a short recap of everything.
Hang on just a minute... before I was eligible to graduate, I had to complete this class called... Portfolio. Hot dang that class was a monster. This class was a collaboration of almost everything I've working on as far as projects throughout my entire school year. Lucky for me, I caught word about this during my 1st quarter. I heard that if you didn't have your work saved, you either had to do it again or do something different in it's place. It was exactly everything though. I had to have 12 projects in my portfolio and then the next degree had to have 14 and the next 16.
So... in order to graduate, we had to take our existing projects, and make them look better... a lot better. We had to show what we had learned and make our crap projects look like we had some schooling. Now the final project was the big one. Since I was a web design major, we had to go through this big thought process on coming up with a name and designing our very own site, upload it to the web and then showcase all of our work on that site. Not to mention stand before the web instructors and give this speech about what our projects were about and why. Then we had to talk about our new website and how it was going to be a thriving business... so to speak.
Now for someone that's never done that before, it felt like a ton of pressure on my shoulders. But I did it, and I graduated!!! That was actually the worst part. The only thing to do after that was to strut our stuff at the portfolio show that the school put on for us. That was the fun part to me. It was held at the convention center uptown and it just had that refreshing feeling like... I FINALLY MADE IT!!!!
And the rest... they say is history.
- I had a steady job at Vulcan Materials.
- I started thinking about my future and wanted to do more with my life.
- I figured out what I wanted to do and did some research on a college to attend.
- Got my nuts and bolts organized, quit Vulcan and enrolled at the Art Institute of Charlotte.
- Nearly went crazy from all the homework and assignments I had to do.
- And lastly, I freakin graduated!!!

My blog list
Check this out... I'm looking over my list of "things to write about for the bunny show blog" and I'm coming across some real goof ball stuff. To be honest, this might just work in my favor since I've been complaining so much about not being able to blog. It's been so dadgum long since I've thought about any of it that I don't remember half the crap on the list. I still remember the good stuff so I guess that all that matters.
Here's a new problem. I'm a tid-bit wrapped up in a few other things and it's really pulling me away from this blog. In case you haven't noticed already, online social networking has become some of the hottest things to do on the web here lately.
Remember myspace... oh lord, lets not go there. I will admit that I did have an account along with a decked out page. Mine looked nice though... none of those loud colors with polka dots all over the place. Oh brother, it would nearly blind you to see that mess.
Next in line for me was facebook. I actually had a facebook account long before I had myspace. An old buddy sent me a message on facebook and I had to make an account to read the message. At the time, I thought it was some kind of e-mail program. So I joined and hardly ever logged on. Now... geesh... I think we all know about facebook. Whether you have an account or not, everybody has heard of facebook.
While I was in school, I was introduced to a new networking program and decided to head up my very own networking group dedicated to motocross riders. Oh... I had massive plans for that network. And you know how much I love motocross.
Next thing you know, I met some folks... er teachers at the school and decided to start going to their monthly networking group based on photography. Now I was loving this. It was uptown and close to the panther stadium. You talk about swanky!!! Oh man... this studio was top-notch. I'm not talking about luxurious... I'm talking about a rustic look! Dang this place was nice. Long story short, I agreed to help rig up a new site for us to network on. So I implemented the same site that I used for my motocross riders.
Another long story short, the creators of this networking site decided to make it a pay only site. No more free access. And that was the end of that!
Then, I started working on a blog for my new business and tried to dedicate some time to that blog as well. Oh wait... dangit I forgot about one other thing! Oh screw it, it really doesn't matter. I've probably got you twisted enough as it is.
On to the next topic...

Nows the time...
Ah ha... nows the time for me to be blogging away! I have another wedding being captured to my computer and since I have 6 tapes at my hip, it's gonna be a while. So what the heck... I have plenty of time to kill.

Yes I'm still alive
Woo-wee! Lemme tell ya... the last 2 months have been... well, for lack of better terms, crazy. A good kind of crazy I might add. I'm still working and building up this thing called "a business" and it's taking over my life hehe! Good thing I love what I'm doing!
The weird part with my new path in life is the change in the way I get my work done. I spent right at 10 years working at a stone quarry operating heavy equipment. It was a routine type job where I had to wake up before the dang roosters were even awake so I could get to work on time, then clock out when most families were already sitting in their underwear watching sit coms on tv. Yep... that job was actually something I always wanted to do as a kid but as they say... times changed. And they changed big time for this ole boy!
So now, I'm one of them ographers! You know, a photographer and a videographer! It's hard to believe that I really am making a run at this type of work. Wait... making a run is not the right phrase. Making a "career" is the right word here! Maybe it's because I'm so passionate about it and it's kinda hard to think that I'm getting paid to do it.
I went from a job where the work was waiting for me... to work that I have to make happen on my own. Big difference there! It's coming along though. As a matter of fact, I have some work processing right now on my desktop computer. After that's done, I have some other work to get started on. That's a good feeling for someone that's made a complete 180 degree turn in life.
The biggest part of revenue comes from my videography side. Weddings, dance recitals sporting events... I even have a birthday party coming up. And it's at Myrtle Beach too!!!! Woo-hoo! That's another part about this job that I love. Every event is at a different location.
Well, I guess that's all for now. This blog is sorta become a struggle to get to nowadays but I'm not ready to let it sink. I'm still on pins and needles about getting back to some type of consistency here.
But for now, see ya next time.

Weekend 5.21.11
Well... I had a massive weekend! And I can't wait to share it with you. The only reason I'm not going to now is because I'm really trying to train myself to go to bed or start trying to get to bed by midnight! I've been staying up way too late, way too long and I really need get this in check. Then it's hard to get to sleep the next night and wind up staying up even later that night. It's actually bit me a few times already. I'll have something where I need to get up early for and when I can't sleep from staying up too late, I screw myself into not getting any or very little sleep for something important. And that's not good.
Okay now, back to my first point. I've come a super long way and this weekend was sort of a peak for me. I have a ton of weight lifted off my shoulders now. But... there is still one more step needed to seal the entire deal for me. And I can't wait to share everything with you.
This has been a long time in the making and I'm on pins and needles right about now. To top it off, this should free up some time to get back to business with the goof-ball stories of the bunny show.
Lets do it!

Weekend 5.14
Whew... I'm exhausted! These last few days have been super busy. But a good kind of busy I might add. Things are definitely coming together for my business. Good grief... what a long road this has been. I know I'm just scratching the surface but I'm getting to that point where I can glide a little with my work instead of the intense building process I've been going though.
I'm still not at a place to to where I can discuss the details. If you're a constant, returning visitor, I'm sure I have your mind all twisted in knots. Trust me, mine is about there itself.
Lets see, now that I've grown quite a bit with my business, I have a few other places where I've been publishing a few things.
First and foremost, I have my central hub of greatness... my factory987.com website. On this site is where you'll find my most treasured work. Or my personal favorites!
Next, is my factory 987 blog. There you'll find my latest adventures and brief stories of my professional work.
And lastly, I have a smug mug photo gallery. This is where I put nearly all my photos for viewing. This idea really came from my motocross background. I needed a way to show all my photos without cluttering up my website. Plus... it already has a built in shopping cart. So anyone that wanted to buy a picture was just a few clicks away from a print or a download. It cost extra for those features but that site has paid for itself!
Other than that, I have been trying to stay up on social media. Twitter, Facebook, Linked In... I even have a facebook fan page for my Factory 987 business. So head on over and "like it". I'd greatly appreciate it! Just go to facebook.com and search for Factory 987.
I also try to post any video clips I might have to Vimeo. I have a few videos on You Tube but I like Vimeo way better.
I can't leave out Flickr! I's been a while since I've posted there but I will be adding to that site very soon.
Just check out My Websites and Stay Connected list on the right sidebar if you wanna check out any of those sites.
So there you go! I told you... I've said it a 100 times in several other post and I'll make this 101. I just have my hands in a lot of cookie jars right now. It use to be worse but for the sake of time, (big yawn) I really need to shut this one down and go to bed!
Night all!

Checking in
I have a converter running on my other computer so while I have a few minutes, I thought I'd pipe in with my 2 cents worth.
Just when I thought I was about to get this show back on the road, I get side tracked, again ( sighs). Lots of weight on my shoulders these days. It's definitely a good kind of weight but I'm all on my own here.
Do you think there are messages in movies? I definitely think so! Even when there aren't meant to be messages in a movie, I find that some scenes just relate to what I'm going through. Before I begin this story, you must first agree not to laugh at the movie I am relating to!
I was watching Pee Wee's Big Adventure yesterday and was actually thinking to myself, why on earth am I watching this crap! I was just a kid when I saw it last. Geesh... I don't even think kids these days would watch enjoy a Pee Wee Herman movie! Anyways, I kept watching the movie and it was the scene where Pee Wee was washing dishes for a mom-n-pop restaurant cause he didn't have his wallet. There was a lady that sort-of took a liking to Pee Wee and wanted him to go with her to watch the sunrise. As they watched the sunrise, they were chatting away about dreams. Course his was dumb but the lady next to him had a really cool dream. To live in Paris she said; the city of love.
She was in doubt about ever making it... but it was when Pee Wee said to her... you can't sit back and wish for your dreams thinking they will come true. You have to make it happen! And I found that statement to be a refreshing reminder of how you make it in this world.
You gotta make it happen!
Well, my converting has finished so I guess I getter get back to making it happen! I have dreams to ya know!!!

Allergies
Lord have mercy. It's like clock work with me. I love the spring time but the pollen rips me wide open. This year, I seem to be getting a little bit of the pre-allergies going on. Just drainage really. Add in the sneezing and headaces and that's what I call the pre-spring allergies.
A pug named Fergal
Meet Fergal! He is a trip lemme tell ya. I got to know Fergal when I first started working with Alan at crown alley films. I kept hearing the clicks on the floor so I knew he had a dog but not what kind. Then the doors opens and this little guy walks in. Now that he knows me, I usually get greetings from Fergal when I'm there.
Check this guy out!!! Look at that face will ya!

Getting established
There is no better way to get on with things than to just... get on with things. Am I right? Or am I right?
Here is my break down of what's been going on for the last 18 months.
Once I get my "foundation" built, I can start filling in the blanks more often.
Okay, I think I've got all the above sorta figured out. Now it's time to start building. This process is a doozer, lemme tell ya! Oh, just keep in mind that this is the light version, the reality of it all was much different.
Okay, now that we've got that out of the way. We're all set. It's show time... er bunny show time!!!
Here is my break down of what's been going on for the last 18 months.
- I graduated and wanted to make use of my multimedia skills.
- I've been researching what people are doing in the multimedia world.
- And how those people do it.
- And why those people do it.
- Where will I fit in.
- How will I fit in.
- Lots of time thinking about stuff
- Research more
- Buy some very expensive camera equipment
- Lay out some details
- Scratch my head in frustration.
- Scratch a little more.
- Talk to even more people about what they're doing, how and why they're doing it.
- Started digging deep on details and structure and begin building a foundation.
Once I get my "foundation" built, I can start filling in the blanks more often.

Repeat of a repeat
I've been thinking. I think I am repeating myself again. I remember doing this a while back and thought as a reader, I would get tired of someone saying something over and over... like this - " one of these days, I'm coming back, or " I have my hands in a lot of cookie jars" blah blah blah.
I just need to shut up with all of the crap, pull out my list and get on with it. Like I never stopped.
Have mercy! I'm all screwed up.

Late at night with Bunn
It's 12:30 in the morning and I'm here on the blog. I think this is becoming more of a trend. I honestly don't plan it this way, it just happens.
I think I am about ready to send this blog out to all my contacts in my "bunny show directory". Just to say hey, I've been slightly active lately. Once I WOW everybody that I actually still want to write about goof-ball-crazy stories about my child hood or everyday life, then I should start blogging away like I use too.
Wait a cotton-pickin minute... who am I kidding here! There is probably no way in tar-nation that I'll be posting like I use too, but close to it would be good enough.
It's all about getting established! I'll explain later.

Career puzzle
Lets see here, for the last... hang on a minute-let me count on my fingers... ah heck with it. Let say a year. For the last year, I've been frantically trying piece together a puzzle. And it's not the one your thinking about either. I call it a career puzzle.
When I quit Vulcan Materials back in August of 2006, I set me sites on building a new career foundation for myself. And when I graduated in October of 2009, it was officially time to start putting the pieces together. Whew... hot dang what a ride this has been.
Most people that start their own business have a regular job that funds the odds and ends, but for me, it has been a bit different. It doesn't help with gas prices higher than a teenager that just graduated high school either. It's rough let me tell ya. It also doesn't help that I spent my entire working life operating heavy equipment. That's nothing against equipment operators either. You just don't have to present yourself in a professional manner, or maybe you do but not like this.
On paper it looks like I made it through with a few scrapes and bruises. But the reality was a little bit of a different experience. Way different!
I'll get into all the details later but for now, I'm proud to say that this year is looking much better than last year. And even though I'm still putting some pieces together, I have some major news to share. I just need to get my " nuts and bolts together" so that it will all make sense.
That's another thing about building your own business. You no longer have people to do pittle work for you, or at least until you can afford a partner or a secretary. You have to do it all on your own. Everything is all on your shoulders.
So here is to putting the pieces of my puzzle together.
Cheers :)

Lets go outside
Now this is what I'm talking about. This weather is just flippin awesome! Days like this make me wanna drag a sleeping bag out to the front yard and sleep under the trees. There is no humidity and there is no chill in the air. It's pretty much perfect... for me anyways.
So this post of the bunny show is coming at ya from my front porch... T minus 1 minute to midnight. I'm such a night owl.
As I sit here on the porch, I'm actually contemplating what to do this weekend. Cause there is no way I'm staying in this house with this kinda weather. It gives me a boost of energy and it puts a huge smile on my face when I can get out and do something outdoors in weather like this.
Well nuff said for now.

Christmas 2010
I sure hope Christmas was as good for you as it was for me. I ate so much dadgum food that I was pretty much in pain. I'm serious! You know them kind of dinners when it's so good that it has your toes wiggling inside your shoe? Well that was how it was for me. I was chowing down for sure. That's were the pain comes in. I went way past miserable and into painful. My goodness it was so good though!
After dinner, Shell Bell and I headed down to Pawleys Island to spend a few days with her family. Hold on a minute, I don't know why I said her family, they would be my family too since I'm married to her. Wouldn't they? Well You know what I mean? I guess I should have said her side of the family. There ... that sounds better.
Anyhoo, I drove separately cause she had the whole week off and I had to go back into work. Normally this is where most people would be like ... aw man that sucks and I'm so jealous that she got to stay, but not me. I love my job to pieces. I was actually ready to get back home and back to work. I haven't posted anything about my job yet but I'm planning on it.
So ... you know I can't go anywhere without taking an umpteen million pics so here they are. I've actually gotten a bit more reserved on what I take instead of taking a million like I use to. Maybe it's because my creative eye is getting sharper!!! That's how I like to look at it!
Anyways enough with the flibba-de-flab and mumbo-jumbo!
Here are a few of the shots I took while we were out.

December 29th 2010
For the record ... it 2:40 am and I am re-arranging my office around!
Also, for the record ... I've noticed I often use 3 dots in my sentences. I'm pretty sure they're used incorrectly ( grammatically speaking ) but I actually don't remember learning about that in high school. I think I use them when I'm pausing in my sentence.
Oh ... who gives a hoot. Especially here on the bunny show. I did google these little dots a little earlier. I've been plugging them fellas in right after a word and not giving a space ... when I should be. At least I learned that much huh!
Well ... I guess I should shut er down and try to get some shut eye. I just wanted to pipe in and charm everyone with my backwards clock ticking in my bald noggin.

Yellow snow
I've always heard... " don't eat yellow snow"! Well don't... it's really piss! Oops... was that too strong of a word for you? How about urine. Doggy urine!
I have proof. My little doggy just couldn't hold it any longer!

New Post
You know what I did a while ago? I was looking at a few things on my computer and just happen to run across my list of bunny show stories. I broke out in a big laugh and said wow! That's it.
I'm definitely not making a statement of I'm coming back but I'm not saying I'm gonna let this die out either. I just thought it was funny when I looked at some of the things I was gonna write about.
I just need to start all over with this instead of trying to pick up where I let off.
Other than that, it's Christmas time... er wait just a minute here. It was Christmas time is what I should say. But, I can still say MERRY CHRISTMAS!
I hope this years seasons greetings was the best ever.

It's me again
Surprised... well I am! I was just laying in bed thinking... now why in the world have I not set aside some time each week to do some good ole writing. It just seems like no matter how hard I try, I keep passing the bunny show off to another day.
I tell ya... I thought things were gonna settle down a bit after I graduated. Boy was I ever wrong! I mean I don't have no where near the stress but it's the whole... "trying to find your way in this world" thing that has me so looped out.
Let me put it to you this way. Try researching an entirely different and new career path, then get all your crap together and start marching in that new direction that you've never been before. Any and all information is all on your shoulders to find and figure out. Ad this suck-hole economy that we're having into the mix while you're at it.
I'm here to tell you... those are not good combination's to have going at the same time. If you're lucky enough to have a spouse that will help you in your journey than that's a little better, but if you're on your on, then get ready for a few bumps in the road.
Now let me rewind a little, I'm not throwing off on my wife. She supports me all the way, but interested... nah!
So as of now, I have learned that in order for you to "make it" out in the "real world" you have to make sure all then in's are in, and all the out's are out. You're responsible for every litte detail. It's a good feeling when things work out nice but it's kinda sucky when things don't work out at all. We're talking about something you're trying to build for income here... not just a preference in something.
Anyways... there's my little rant.
It's almost 2:30 in the morning and I am still wide awake. For one thing, I'm a bonafide night owl and the other is I just have things on my mind. It's almost funny when I think about what I'm doing. I am super proud of myself with some of the things I've accomplished so far... and I know it's gonna get better. But to go from spending all of my time outside on bikes to spending all my time in the house on a computer is not what I thought I'd be doing 5 years ago.
One thing is for sure. I love what I'm doing. And can't get enough of it. With technology, things are constantly changing and if you wanna stay in the game, you've gotta keep up with what's new and what's hot.
Goodness, I should try getting at least a little sleep...

I'm getting horrible at this
Hello all you readers. Sigh....
I think I've went from bad to worse! I'm having a hard time getting back on track here for some reason. It's not because I don't won't to either. That's for sure! It's hard to explain.
One of these days' I'll pull it back together. I just think I'm a wee bit scattered these days. Well, I take that back, I'm way scattered.
You know you can have all the right intentions on things but actually doing them is a totally different story.
So... let's hope I can get all of my scatterbrains together.

Lets laugh haha...
If there is one thing in this world that I love to do, it's laughing. It's the perfect medicine for whatever ails you. If I'm not laughing then I get a kick out of making other people laugh. There is just something about the feeling of laughter that makes the good times roll.
Movies, TV programs or jokes are always good but I think the best kind of laughter is when it's with friends or family. And you know you're laughing when your gut starts to hurt or either you start squealing like a little pig.
So how about this. Since we are not in the same room, I'll share a few other things I found funn.
And if that's not enough for you... then have a look at this YouTube video I found. Silly.... just plain silly hehe...

Changing
The world is changing! People are changing! Times are changing! I'm changing and you're changing! Everything is changing!
So, I am gonna try and start to shorten my stories a bit. For some of them, I won't be able to cause there will be too much to tell, but for the most part, people don't read anymore!
Pictures are always good but it's the message that gets left out most of the time. Even if I have to make more individual post, I'm still going to shorten things up as much as possible.
Ya with me!

Remember back when I said I have a list of all the bunny show stories that I wanted to write about? Well, as I sit here scrolling through the list, I began to shake me head and wonder... how in the world am I going to remember all the details of all this stuff.

Hey look, change is here again!
I know I know... I change the look of this blog like I change my underwear. Well, not quite but you know what I mean. I just can't seem to settle when it comes to the look and feel of this blog.
A few months back I had a nice looking template but the site that hosted that template decided to take it down for some odd reason. So that left me with a complete white page. I could always use the templates that blogger offers but I think these look much better.
I guess, as long as I can get my point or stories across and I'm able to post some photos, I'm all good but the added designs sure makes it look more swanky. Just my opinion though!

The reason why
I did a little research on why my other template was acting up. Come to find out the template was removed from the site where it was downloaded. Maybe that's why I had a solid white page. Oh well, I liked it a lot but I guess it's better to stick with what Google offers with their templates here. They've added some new features so at least I can change the layout much easier than messing with the code.
Oh and before I go any further let me say this. When I wait so long to write something here, I sometimes forget that I may have mentioned something before in an earlier post. Since I'm not the one reading each post, it's really easy to write something that you've said 100 times over. I guess it comes from me feeling like I want to catch everyone up on whats been going on and it may be something that I've already wrote in a post on down the line. But because it was wrote... lets say... a month ago, it feels like it's been a long enough time for another update on what's going on. The funny part is, the stuff that I wrote a month ago is the very next post!!! See what I mean.
I say this because I actually took a few minutes to read a few stories. After doing so, I was like: "man... my stories have gotten boring. And why am I saying the same thing over and over again'!
I'm having a difficult time trying to piece everything back together with my mind being in 50 places at one time. Then when I have time to get on here, my brain is completely washed out. So... my apologies if things have been boring and staled lately.
I remember the times when I'd be writing a story and have to wipe the tears from my eyes or try and catch my breath from a good laugh. It all comes from the feeling of re-living that moment. The part that I miss the most. Sometimes, when I take a breather and look at everything I'm trying to do, I can see why my brain is scrubbing the floor.
If I could at least designate a night to sit back, relax and write, I think that may work out better than trying to fit in a time at 2 in the morning or when 2 other things are going on at one time on my other computer.
Let me put it this way, if there was ever a time I could make a little magic happen, it would definitely be right now!

Another new look
I guess this is what happens when you don't log in that often cause the background of this template is not showing up. I don't know what it looks like on your computer but on mine, I've got a solid white page. Not sure what's happening here but I did notice some new features blogger is offering. I don't know if that has anything to do with it but I guess I'll be changing out another template.
That sucks to man... I really liked this one. My sunny skies with the clothes line has vanished......
Well, be on the lookout for a different look.

I see the light!
Remember me saying how extremely busy I've been. Well, I put in a long weekend's worth of work and got a ton of work done. I am still not finished yet but the heavy lifting is over. I hope! Right now I'm working out the kinks, but other than that, it's finished. All that I really have left is re-editing my videos and adding some more.
In the next couple of nights, I am going to give a major break down of everything so I can bring you back up to speed with what I'm doing and plan on doing. Not to mention, getting back on track with the bunny show stories.
Cheers!

It's me again
Whew... I have been one busy son-of-a-gun here lately. I'm about to match my staying up all night record that I made back in college because of all this work I am trying to do. Dang... it's been so long since I've had a chance to blog that I almost wanna tell you all over again on what's going on. But, I won't! I realize I've already wrote those things two many times already.
All I can say is that I'm still working like a mad man on trying to get all my work finished. I know your thinking that I'm nuts. I'll admit that I probably have a few screws loose somewhere but it's just a long story. I think it's all for the good. I've learned a lot with everything that's been going on.
You could call me a bit of a work-a-holic. I love what I do and it's all I can think about. How to push myself to the next level or either challenge myself to figure out the messes I have made.
I really mean this when I say that I am getting a lot closer to getting everything wrapped up. I can't wait too. I need to chill for at least a little bit. But for some reason, I know that word chill will only be a word, not an action. You see, it is currently 5:15 am, and I am typing this on my laptop while I have my desktop computer uploading files to my web server.I have tried to sleep a few time but my mind is running on me like the coyote chasing the road runner.
Well, I guess I'll do a few other things since it looks like I have another 20 minutes or so before the uploading process ends.
Before I go, I'd like to thank everyone for reading the bunny show. I can't wait to get started back again... for the third time!

Going or Coming?
It's funny you ask that because I have been doing a ton of both. In fact, I may have to take yet another break on the bunny show. I'm a little frustrated by this too. I've had a truck load of stories that I wanted to write but time hasn't been on my side lately. So by the time I get to these stories, I'll probably leave something out because it took me so long to finally write the dad-gum thing.
Here is where I stand. After I graduated college, I thought that I'd have a lot more time on my hands to get caught up on my crazy thoughts, goofy stories and/or whatever else falls into the category of bunny show worthiness, but it's been quite the contrary.
I also thought that since I had my portfolio site built, that I'd be sitting on a green light of opportunities and I'd be ready to go. Well, I actually am sitting on a green light of opportunities but what I really meant to say was that I am no where near where I need to be with my work. During the last few months I have taken a step back to research and think and take inventory about what exactly it is that I am doing, what I want to do from here on out and how I am presenting myself.
Okay, lets break this down a bit. Lets just say that school gave the basic foundation of what to do and how to do it. The thing that didn't and probably can't teach... is exactly what successful people are doing these days and how they're doing it.
After talking with some key people, I have learned that I am way off the mark! Seriously! I've been told that I have the ability, the skills and even the right kind of enthusiasm for this type of work but I just haven't presented myself or my work all that well. So now that my eyes have been opened to all these things; we are making a ton of changes.
There are a few key people that I have getting some inside knowledge from and I can't thank them enough for their information. I promise to tell you all about it too. As well as all the other stuff I promised. I'm just a bit over my head with a hundred things happening at one time right now.
I am merging my motocross site into my portfolio site ( factory 987 ) and then I'm redesigning that site. On top of all of that, I am giving some of my work a make over plus adding new work. I have also created an online store for my photography in case some lucky soul would like to buy some of my work. This way, you can browse and buy straight from your home and the product come straight to your doorsteps. Oh gosh there is a list of other things that are in the mix but I can't even think of what they are.
I have some other news that I want to break but I'm gonna have to hold off. I know that I say this like every time I write something here but your just gonna have to believe me on this.
Again, I promise to tell you all about everything that's happened here lately. I just need to finish my other work so I can be up to speed with everything I'm doing.

Scrambled eggs
What just a minute... don't start thinking about breakfast cause this has nothing to do with the scrambled eggs that you're probably thinking about. I'm actually referring to my mind. That's right, my brain!
What I really mean is that my mind has been a little scrambled here lately. I've been tossing and turning with several things and I have felt completely scattered. It's kinda like taking 5 steps backwards with every step forward that I make. To top it off, I would even think about what was making me think the way I was thinking. If that makes any sense to you. In other words, my mentality was like scrambled eggs... chopped up and all over the place. But I fell like I have figured a few things out.
It's almost hard to explain without repeating myself over and over again but lets just say that I have taking on a little too many projects lately. Resulting in zero is where I normally am at the end of the day.
I wrote about something earlier about me being interested in everything. And I am. I spend probably 12 to 15 hours... wait, I have a better way of saying this. If I'm not sleeping, then I am here on the computer. Other than being on the computer, I really love photography. Now I could spend countless hours out in the field somewhere waiting for that perfect eye-catching moment to happen. Whether it's driving down the road looking for something or at a track shooting motocross. Then there is the editing process. This stage is pretty much endless. It all depends on what you are wanting to do with the photos. Next, there is photoshop. Which is where the editing takes place. If you have the knowledge, photoshop can take you into another world of wild creations. For the sake of my fingers and your reading eyes, I won't list the other mighty adobe programs that are sitting so gracefully on my computer. Lets skip to videography shall we. Oh my... how my heart beats for videography. Both shooting and editing. I can wholeheartedly say that both photography and videography is where my heart is.
Then there is web design and graphic design. I have a huge love for web design but it just isn't buried as deep in my heart as photo and video. The web is crazy these days. The things people are doing are simply unbelievable. You can burn up countless hours while designing websites. Unless you're Drew Kinney, ( my web instructor at the Art Institute ). Now that guy can quote web code to you in his sleep. For me, it takes a bit of time. Even when it's something I'm familiar with. All it takes is a . or , or = or < and so on... in the wrong place and the whole site is completely twisted like a grapevine. You'll nearly rack your mind trying to figure out where the problem is. The strange thing is... I like doing that. Figuring out the problem that is. I get so frustrated when I jack everything up but finding the bug is rewarding.
Lastly is my blogging. The bunny show has a really deep place in my heart... but guess what? I spend so much time doing all the other things that I'm not making myself put any time into this. I have told myself a thousand times to make a schedule but I'm hard headed.
So here are a few things that I have been working on... at the same time.
vitomusiq.com - an inspiring talented singer from Monroe NC that worked his way to high rankings on American Idol. (
moto87.com - my own motocross web site getting a new look
factory987.com - my own portfolio site is getting a new layout as well.
Cory Bramblet interview - a magazine layout of an interview with Cory.
and all of my motocross footage I shot with the schools SD cameras are getting music videos made from them. Don't even ask how much footage I have. Just think big!
On top of all of this, I am trying to get my dirt bike running so I can sell it and get new camera equipment. It goes without saying that I have my hands full. I am just trying to do too many things at one time. I love to multi task but I'm never good at it.
So... this is the reason I haven't pouring out some silly story that has all kinds of misspelled words and silly phrases that don't make any sense.
One thing is for sure though... I'm working on a fix for this! I'll just have to add it to my to do list.

Where you been?
I've been missing in action here lately... and I guess the only thing I can say is that I've been a bit too deep in thought. I know that sounds strange to you, but it's true. I've had a lot on my mind lately and I can't seem to make heads or tails with it all. To be brutally honest, my motivation mode kinda slipped off again. It's very frustrating since I know there are so many things I am trying to do... all at one time too. But then again, that's probably where my problem is.
Most of the time, I'm my own worst critic. Lets put it this way. I've often repeated this but just for a refresher, I'll say it again. I think I have my hand in too many cookie jars. I've taken such a high interest in everything I'm doing! I've even made this comment to a few people here lately. I think I am experiencing some sort of mid life crisis. Oh I'd have to make a list out of all the things that is taking all of my time. I'll even sit here in front of my computer for hours at a time... and not do anything but browse, research, study, read... you get the idea.
I had a story line already set aside for this but since it's on my mind... why not go ahead and engage! If I am not doing any kind of design work, then reading/researching different things is what I'm most likely doing. What I mean is the internet is kinda like my brother. You see... having a brother is something that I'll never get to experience. But google... will tell me almost anything I need to know. Now google will never take the place of what a real brother would be able to give but when I need to know something, or I have a question about something, I turn to google. I have a ton of questions about a lot of things. I'm just interested, that's all!
So that's really what I've been doing here lately. Googling all kinds of things, reading, studying researching, thinking... I'm just interested!

Walmart
I wish I could say that I'll never shop at Walmart again but I'm sure that I'll carry my butt right back in there when I need something. Your probably gonna think this is silly but it's true.
When I lived in Concord, I didn't mind going to Walmart to get what I needed. Heck, I even shopped for groceries there before Shelly and I got married. It just didn't bother me as bad. Now that we're living in Indian Trail, we go to the Walmart here in town. I have 3 words for that place, or 4 if you count " I " as a word. I despise that place! I don't know what it is but even the thought of having to go to Walmart turns me inside out. I guess I better shut my mouth. As the saying goes "if you don't have anything good to say then don't say nothing at all"!
I will say this though. They don't have any self check out aisles. Not one! To top it off, there are 27 registers ( I counted them ) and the majority of the time, there are less then 10 of the lanes open.
Am I missing out on anything here??? If so please tell me!
About a week ago I ordered a dresser for my office and decided to hit Walmart.com up since they we're so cheap. Ever heard the saying... "you get what you pay for"? It was definitely cheaper than anything I found and it was the right color and everything. So I ordered it. I knew the quality would be cheap but dang... it was pathetic. There was even a drawer that was busted on the bottom. So I took that piece of crap back to the store. Course I had to wait in a line that was shaped like a banana cause there was only 2 ladies working in the returns desk and one of them was on the phone talking to someone! What a mess!
It's not always that I have a bad or cruddy experience from Walmart but there have only been a few times when the experience was above a 5 on a scale from 1-10. That wasn't the case at the Concord store.
Ah who knows, it could just be me.

Drip drop
Remember the nasty weather had last month? One day I was outside messing around and noticed some water dripping from the roof onto one of our outside tables in the back yard. It was tricky but I managed to get a shot of it splatting on the table. I didn't even realize it either until I looked at them on my computer.
Check em out for yourself!

New Years sparkles
Each year on the night of new years eve, I always bring it in with Dick Clark and the gang. But this year... or should I say last new years eve I did a little something different. I still watched the Dick Clark show but Shelly's mom was in town and spending the night with us. And lookie what she brought...
Some sparkles!!!
So we lit a few of them up!
Happy belated 2010 everyone!

Take some time
Whenever you get a chance, take a minute or two from your busy lifestyle and have a laugh. There is nothing like it. It's way too easy to get caught up in the day-to-day stress in life. Laughing is soul food. I get a kick out of laughing at myself or either making somebody else laugh when I can.
If you can't think of anything then maybe I can help. Check out a few of these pictures. I stumbled onto these as I was browsing the web this morning.
Here is the sites that I found them on. Check them out when you get a chance. And have a laugh will ya!!!

Still up
Yep... I'm up late. Well... I say late but 1:30 am is not too late for me. I'm a night owl. I don't have to be in to work till 10 am so I have a little "sleeping in" time going for me. Here is where it will bite me though. I like to sleep in... big time. In other words I could sleep till 11 am with no problems (compliments to my past college life).
I'm getting off track here... get to the point bunny!!! Okay, it's now 1:34 am and the bunny show is coming at you here on the couch while I listen to my mp3 player and try to type myself to sleep. You heard right... the couch. I can't get any sleep here lately cause Shelly keeps hitting me on the side and telling me to roll over cause I'm snoring. Ha... you thought I was in the dog house didn't you? Shelly and I don't do the doghouse treatment thing. I'd still curl up with her even if she has made me mad as blazes. Maybe if I drop a few pounds, the snoring might go away but I'm totally not motivated to eat right and exercise. I started eating really junky when I got a about 6 months into school so I knew I'd pack on a few pounds. Funny thing is that all that junk taste so good that I don't wanna go back to eating right. Diet food doesn't taste bad but it's just that junk taste so good it will make your toes curl.
With all of that being said, I haven't sleeping worth a hoot lately. It has a lot to do with a few other things too. I have a huge story about that so I need to wait till I have all my ducks in a row before I share that one. It's a hum-dinger of a story too... let me tell ya!
Well, I guess I'll chop this one off. I'm getting sloppy with my words and sentences more so than I am getting sleepy. If I keep going I'll be making no sense at all.
Till next time!

That's messed up
Wanna hear something that's messed up? In the year of 2009, I successfully made it out to the gym for some cardio exercise a huge total of 1 time! While I was there on my annual calorie burn, I was completely distracted by a TV commercial of McDonald's new cheeseburger. Now that right there is plain messed up!!!
Wanna hear something else that's messed up?
Back when I got hired for Cycle Gear, I had to get a drug test done. Of course this was water off a ducks back to me because I knew this would be a breeze. I get to the office, fill out the paper work and then I sit and wait for my name to be called. "Brian Bunn... We can take you back now"... the lady says! So, I followed the lady back into the room. In this room was another lady and she has a puzzled look on her face. So I ask... What do you need me to do? She looks at me and says... do you know this is drug test that's taken from your hair? Now you do realize I shaved my head the night before right?
I said to her... have some hair from my arm... your can have all of that you want and there is plenty! It's not long enough she replies! You know... I think that dad-gum woman wanted me to show my moon pie! All for a freaking drug test. By now I'm thinking that I could really fill up a cup of pee right now but you just insist on using hair. Suddenly, I thought, hey... how about my legs! So I pulled up my pants leg and they were like... yeah, now this will work.
So long story short... they took a noticeable chunk of hair from my leg in one spot and I didn't have to show them my moon pie! Thank goodness!!!
All of that was every bit of messed up!

Facebook post
A post from one of my friends on facebook:
Jimmy McDonald I was in the restaurant yesterday when I suddenly realized I desperately needed to pass gas. The music was really, really loud, so I timed my gas with the beat ofthe music. After a couple of songs, I started to feel better. I finished my coffee, andnoticed that everybody was staring at me....Then I suddenly remembered that I was listening to my iPod. My bad!

Times are changing
Times are definitely changing. I didn't think I'd ever go back to school, but I did, and loved it. I've also been absorbed into book stores. Not necessary a library, unless it's a nice one but book stores like Barnes & Nobel, Books a Million or Borders. Those are the ones I like. You can go in and get yourself a coffee and then find a book or a magazine to read.
Another sign of the times is what's allowed on TV these days. I'm not even going to get into the nudity that is on regular TV but I will say something about the language. I was watching an old 80s movie a few weeks ago and on this particular scene, the actor said GD. Now if you don't know what that is then I'm sorry, I'm not typing that out for you. You figure it out! So anyways, the network didn't bleep the word out. The very next scene, a guy said bullsh!t... and they bleeped it out. The bleep didn't cover the whole word, just the last part! So, what has the world come too? You can take Gods name in vain but you bleep out something that kids hear in preschool? What's up with that?
Times have definitely changed! Where is the limit? I don't think there is one! We've passed that mark a long time ago!
Brace yourself... who knows what the future will hold!

Comments
I'm not sure what the deal is but here lately but I've been noticing a lot of spam getting into some of my accounts. It's not the spam you keep refrigerated either. It's more like nonsense e-mails linking to something stupid. It could even be a virus waiting on you as soon as you click the link.
There are all kinds of spider bots crawling all over the web these days so I'm having to turn up the heat a little on a few things.
From now on, when you leave a comment, there will be a captcha for you to enter. It's just for verification purposes. Don't let it scare you away from leaving comments cause I love to read comments. I'm just trying to tell the difference between a human and a computer. That's all!
So.... comment away please!!!

Things that make you say... dad-gummit!
1. Your so thirsty and you've been thinking about a Mountain Dew ( or your favorite drink ) all day long. You see a drink machine and you have just enough change to make it happen. You enter the change, hit the Mountain Dew tab and out spits a freaking welch's grape drink ( or your worst drink ).
2. Your hungry and you're heading to the nearest drive thru. There are 3 or 4 cars ahead of you but you'll be turning into the drive thru shortly while the other cars go another direction. You get close and notice those 4 cars ahead of you were hungry too and they're all going to the same drive thru as you are.
3. Your computer is acting up. It's either hung up or your trying to do to many things at one time and the chip can't process everything. You accidentally hit the delete button and it starts working again... and fast!
4. You just bought a new gallon of milk and you are craving a bowl of cereal. You open the lib and smell the milk and it's spoiled already!
5. Your favorite song is on the radio and you jamming to the beat. Your singing like your the new American Idol. Then static takes over and by the time you get a good clear signal again, the song is over!
I can think of plenty more situations like this but sooner or later when the right situation happens, dad-gummit turns into #$%&!

24-The TV Show
It was sometime around the middle of last year when I stumbled onto this show. A good friend recommended that I check it out but at that time, I really wasn't into any TV series. I'm a huge fan of the History Channel, Learning Channel, Travel and the rest of them channels like that. I had even seen a few previews on several shows that were coming out and thought... dang, these look pretty good! But I still never put any time into them. Even shows like American Idol never appealed to me!
Getting back to my point here, my friend let me borrow the first season of 24. At first, Shelly and I started watching them at night after supper. She was immediately hooked. For me, I didn't think I was going to get into it. After three or four episodes, I started to come around and by the last couple of disc in the DVD set, I was hooked. So I turned the set back over to my friend and then he let us borrow the 2nd season. I think he owned all of them because he always told me to let him know when we're finished and he'd let us borrow the next season.
So we start watching the second season and I'm simply glued to the TV. I would even beg Shelly to watch another episode after one finished. She would only last through two or three episodes cause she has to be in bed by 9 pm you know! So we did that until around the middle of the 2nd season. After that, I just couldn't help it anymore. I stayed up till 3 in the morning watching those programs! And if I had a Sunday where I wasn't doing anything, I wouldn't leave the house. I was addicted and I still am! That show is amazing! There is so much action and so many things happening at once that it always leaves you on the edge of your seat.
So here is where I stand. Even though I would get a whole season ahead of Shelly, I would watch them over with her. By the time season 4 was finished, I was in the beginning phase of my portfolio class. So I told my friend not to give me any more seasons until we're finished. There was just no way I would commit any time to my work if there was a unwatched season of 24 around. You know, I never got to Season 5. After we finished school, we continued to hang out but someone else had the season so I wasn't able to watch it. Looks like I'll have to rent or buy the DVD set myself. Did I mention that I was addicted to that show? Since I've been watching 24, Kiefer Sutherland has become one of my favorite actors.
I'm telling you. If you haven't already seen any of the shows, then you just need to make time and watch them from the beginning. It's like there is action, suspense and drama happening all at one time, but Jack Baur always pulls it together somehow and saves the day. It's neat how it all comes together when everything is so scattered.
Right now, season 8 is showing at 9 pm Monday nights. I believe Fox is the network! Go check it out! Beware: You may become addicted!
