You know... we should all make more time out of our lives to go to the zoo. If you like animals that is! BUT, and this is a big but. There is only one thing that bothers me about the zoo. How did these animals get here? Ever thought about it?
I love all kinds of animals! And I surely love seeing animals that I would never get to see unless I went on a safari or something. Lets just all hope none of the animals were harmed to get to the zoos.
Not trying to say anything here... just wondering! Then again - where else does our nice leather come from. Or our delicious meats. I guess you could throw this into the whole circle of life thing.
Personally, I think some animals were put here for us to love on, some were put here for us to eat and some were put here to look at... and the list goes on and on...
Cheers :)

Around the house
Every once in a while... I catch these little boogers hanging out around the house. Sometimes I think they're actually posing for me!
Cheers :)
Christmas 2012
This year for the holidays... I ate way too much delicious food and spent several days with my mom in little ole Lilesville. The locals call it L.A which is short for Lilesville area.
There is hardly ever a time when I visit that I don't roam the land reminiscing my years of growing up as a kid. It's pure country down in Lilesville area.
I hope you all had a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year! Enjoy a few photos I took while I was there.
Cheers :)
This is the house from the movie "The Color Purple". It's a beautiful place!
These last 2 photos are of the old store just down the road from the house. The light coming from this store almost had the yard lite up! I use to ride my bicycle down the road to this store and grab a bottled mountain dew. Sigh... the good ole days!
RIP W.R Bonasl Co. Mining Division
Apparently I am behind on times since this news is already a year old. Now that I look back in life, this job was one of my best jobs. It didn't pay all that great but this company was filled with great people to work with. I can just stare at this picture and see everything just like it use to be.
I can remember hearing horns and the back up alarms from all the heavy machinery. I was eventually hired in 1995 and left in mid 1997 to pursue other jobs with better salaries.
W.R Bonsal Co. was one of those places where all the "good ole boys" worked. Everybody was super friendly and most everyone had tons of stories they could tell about the old days of working there.
Such sad news. Long live W.R Bonsal Mining Co.
