Hold on to them Bunns....

Once again it looks as if I am gonna have to put this show on hold. I am so stressed out right now from all the work I am having to do.... that it's unreal. My brain is soooooo fried from all the work and new programs I'm having to learn that I can't even think. Next quarter there will have to be changes made because I cannot go through another quarter like this one. After it's over I will tell you all about it but for now, I just need to survive. If I didn't have to work, I would have plenty of time to work on everything. Thank God for a wife that understands what I am going through. I am having to learn a lot of new programs and on top of that, homework and projects to go along with it. I am trying to be strong but I'm not going to lie to you, I am starting to break down. Do you want to know how hard it is to return to school after being out for 15 years and not to mention, going into a field that you are brand new to. I enjoy a good challenge but that doesn't mean I can breeze through every battle with my eyes closed. Sometimes you have to crawl to victory... and right now my hands and knees are a bit dirty from all the crawling. Well time is wasting, I better get back to work.

Back to school

It's back to the grind again and yes... I am here at school again. They are doing some work to the ac/heat units here and it feels like the heat is on wide open. Looks like I get to sweat off my frustrations. Well, I have no time for play so lets get busy......

Next quarter

I have been hearing rumors around school that they are going to make a change in the program. I am under the web and video program but it looks as if next quarter, I will have to make a chose. Web design or video production. I think I am gonna go towards the video production program. There is just something about filming and editing and of course... seeing the end result of your work. I still want to learn web design but I have to be honest with ya... I feel like I am understanding the video side of this program better than the web design. If my head hasen't exploded from all the work I have to complete, I will share what I have been doing lately... for now, I have got to get some sleep. I am so tired!!!!

Homework...

It is now 11:05pm Sunday night. I spent 5hrs at school today trying to teach myself final cut pro which is our video editing program. My partner and I still have some video footage to record and then next weekend I will focus on editing what we recorded. I will probably take a sleeping bag to school next weekend. I swear....when they assign you a project... they dish it out. What makes it so difficult is I am in a group with two other students. That means I have to schedule some time to meet with them to discuss and take action on what we are gonna do. When I go back to class this week, I will get another project assigned with another new group. So not only will I have to make time for my existing group, I will have to squeeze in time for another group and start thinking about another project. I'm telling you.... if my head doesn't explode from this quarter, I will be a vegetable. Talk about an overload. Thats just 1 of my classes, I have 2 other classes to go along with all of this. I will say this again... I don't know how I'm gonna make it... but I will.

More homework

It's me again, it is now Saturday 12 noon, and yes I am here at school again. I winded up leaving campus last night around 11:15pm. I am a little bit caught up but when I say a little bit, I mean exactly that. I was working on my last homework assignment last night and after I completed the final adjustment to complete and turn in my work, I decided to close it out and reopen to see how it looked. Wanna know what happened, well I dunno, it vanish. I thought I made a folder for my saved work but I guess not... so I had to do it all over again. This makes the second time I have had to redo homework assignments because of something simple like that. Just so you know, it usually takes me around 2 hours give or take to complete most of my photoshop work.

Well, I have about another 45 minutes to spare while I wait on my partner for my video project. Then it's back to the grind. Oh by the way, do you believe in miracles....I hope so because if you don't, I am going to prove it to you. Like I said I don't know how or what in the world I'm gonna do to get all this work done and turned in on time... but I will... somehow... someway.

Homework

It's Friday night...the time is 7:50pm and I am siting here at school in a Mac lab with my head about to split wide open with all the homework I have on my shoulders. I have a few words of advise for anybody looking to go to school full time... Sleeping is not an option... I have dreamweaver homework, photoshop homework and video homework that has to be edited with final cut pro. Shelly told me today that we are going to celebrate after this quarter is over. I don't think I will have the energy... I am going to make though, I don't know how... but I will. Well, time is ticking away and my homework isn't getting done as long as I'm here. So... if any of you happen to see me around... and I seem a little zombiefied...well now you will know.

The Cheeseburger Hunt

There are so many different kinds of food that I truly enjoy eating but there is one that I love more than anything. That would be a great big cheeseburger with fries. Chicken and steak are high on the list too but there is something about cheeseburgers that I love the most. For the past 6 to 8 months, I have been on a journey to find out who has the best cheeseburger...and yes, we have a winner. Here is the verdict:

and the winner is... Applebee's cowboy burger. If you haven't had the cowboy burger then you are in for a treat if you like cheeseburgers. That's just my opinion though... some people may not like all that stuff on a cheeseburger or some people may not even like Applebee's all together. Trust me... you won't go wrong if you choose to stop at Cookout or Backyard Burgers. These restaurants have great tasting burgers also. Well that's all I have on the burger test. If I find a burger better than the cowboy burger at Applebee's, I will be sure to let you know.

Spring time in the winter time

Every now and then Shelly will pick up some flowers for our little cabin and then sometimes she gets flowers for our little deck behind our little cabin. Since I'm a sucker for pretty colors, I will always welcome flowers at the Bunns cabin of cozyness... It's like spring time in the winter time here. Since they are so colorful, I thought I'd share a few of them with you. Beautiful flowers from a beautiful woman....

Tavern on the tracks

If you are in the uptown Charlotte area and want some good food, stop here at Tavern on the Tracks. It really is a hole in the wall restaurant but don't let looks fool you. Let me give you a heads up though. If there is a football game playing and it's Friday or Saturday night... you can forget it unless you want to feel like you are in a sardin can. That place gets packed!

Thoughts of the day

Have you ever been riding down the road and one of you favorite songs comes on the radio. Whats the first thing we all do... Nope... it's not turning the radio up. The first thing we all do is yell... THIS IS MY SONG.....then we turn the radio up to the loudest point before the speakers start distorting. So you' re driving down the highway and all of a sudden the radio starts jumping to other frequency's... don't that just burn you up. It does to me. If the radio statio is gonna go out, it will do it when I'm jammin to a good song.

How about when you drive into a neighborhood with speed bumps and then some dummy gets right on your bumper. About a month ago Shelly and I were in her old neighborhood and some dingdong decides to get right on my bumper. That is one thing that sends me through the roof. That crap burns me up because in todays society, everybody is in a hurry to go nowhere. I remember one night when she was still living in that neighborhood, we were on our way back from dinner and some lady got so close to my bumper, I couldn't even see her head lights. Well it really makes the both of us mad so after she turned, we stoped, turned around and went to that stupid womans house and just sat there at her driveway while she walked into her house.
I mean really.... why the heck do you ride someones bumper in a neighborhood...where you gonna go? There is enough animosity in the world already. The last thing this world needs is a Bunn about ready to flip his or her lid... and you think Rambo did some damage!!!!

5 things you didn't know about me

We all have our ways about different things in life. Some things we share with others and then there are some we don't share, not that they are secrets but there are things in our everyday life that we just don't go into discussion about. Well, I figured I would share a few things about me that I'm pretty sure I don't openly talk about. So here goes:

1. I take extremely long showers. I have to really put my mind to it if need to take a quick shower. Every doggone time I try to take a quick shower, the freaking hot water runs out on me.
2. I can almost read an entire magazine while I sit on the crapper. I can't just go sit on the crapper, I have to be taking a dump! There is a big difference you know!
3. I enjoy going to the mall. Whether it be to shop,window shop or just walking around. I like to see what's out and around.
4. I am extremely organized and detailed but it takes getting frustrated with being so unorganized and out of order before I do something about it.
5. I am not a people person. I don't like talking to just anybody. Get to know me though and I can't seem to shut up.

Well there you have it... I just spilled the beans on a few things that most people didn't know about me. I tell ya what... I'll even spill the beans on something else. I am a real tender hearted person. It doesn't take much to make me shed a few tears but it's because something or someone has touched me emotionally.

See there, now how many people will admit things like that. Tender hearted and not to mention the times my legs and feet fell asleep from such a long time of sitting on the toilet!
