paxtrax

I recently had a chance to get away to Florida for a day. We were on a mission to soak up some sunny 65 degree weather and do some riding. This track was about an hour from Jacksonville and not to far from Daytona Beach. What can I say but mission accomplished . Now this may seem a little disoriented to those of you who don't have motocross running through your veins. I mean, we drive 7hrs down, grab a hotel, get up and drive to track , unload , ride and finally pack up and leave around 3 to get back here( which was Concord NC ) around 11 pm. Now for those of you who live to ride and ride to live , you know exactly what I'm talking about. It's hard to beat heading out to the track to put in some motos with your friends. Of course this is not something you would do every weekend unless your wallet is thick enough but it's good fellowship and creates good memories. Hey, you only live once.... Go make the best of it. If God lets me live till I'm old and frale, weak in the tale, I will have some good memories to think back on. Here Mike Andrews is flying over one of the big table tops and getting power to the ground on a huge bowl turn.

Jacksonville, Florida

It was a blast to get away and do something you have a passion for and I was even able to snatch this shot while I was there. Once we arrived at the hotel we headed out to check out some night life around Jacksonville. Well you know how us wanna-be photographers are , we have to take our camera everywhere we go in case you come across the chance to get that good shot. Even though this has a little blurr to it, this was my favorite. Not a lot going on this night but It was nice seeing something different.

The old house

This is the old farm house I lived in by myself for 2 years and then Shelly moved in after we were married . We stayed there another year and a half. I will miss this place a lot. The location was wonderful, the setting was relaxing . I even use to wonder if the deer and squirrels were chirping in harmony as they would pounce through the yard.... just kidding...... The only thing that made this house hard to live in was the tempeture of the house. During winter you could see you breath when you talked... I'm not kidding...

Our little cabin

This is our house we just bought . Shelly and I are very pleased to be here. Although it will take some time to adjust to the area and find the best way around , this house seems to be a perfect start for us. We are planing on doing some home improvments to make our little cabin look cool.........
